Students who reside permanently within the boundaries of the Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District may request enrollment at a school other than their school of residency by applying for an Intra-District Transfer . Applications for an Intra-District transfer are granted based on space availability at the requested school.
The Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District only accepts applications for Intra-District transfers during the Open Enrollment period: Monday, January 12, 2015 through February 27, 2015.
- Students initially enrolling in the GATE Academy program at a site which is not their school of residency must apply for an Intra-District transfer.
- Students attending school on an Intra-district transfer are not eligible for District transportation. Transportation to and from the school of choice is the responsibility of the parent.
Completed applications MUST be returned to the District Office. Applications may be hand delivered, sent via US mail, scanned and sent via email, or faxed.
